Have you ever wondered if using cannabis during pregnancy has an impact on early childhood development? Do you also sometimes wonder about other environmental exposures such as air pollution?

We are a team of researchers at the University of Alberta trying to answer these questions. We are recruiting a large group of pregnant women including those who use cannabis during their pregnancy and those who do NOT use cannabis.

Hand Expression in pregnancy can assist you to have an easier time starting and continuing breastfeeding. It may also help your body get ready for labour. Mom Care Docs has hand expressing kits available at our office. Most patients can start hand expression at 36 weeks.

Be sure to talk to us about hand expression.
